Amanda Bynes has revealed she’s now joined OnlyFans and has explained what she will be doing on the adult platform.

The 39-year-old actor has certainly had a busy few years, after ending a conservatorship with her mother back in March 2022.

The She’s The Man actor was placed under conservatorship in 2013 after struggling with mental health issues for a long while.

And while it has been a somewhat of a bumpy ride since then, Bynes has managed to revitalise her career and has even embarked on a new venture recently.

On Tuesday (April 15), the actor shared she has decided to join OnlyFans – but she won’t be using it for NSFW purposes, like many creators on the adult platform.

Taking to social media, the child star explained the purpose of her new account.

“I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through dm’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join,” Bynes wrote on her Instagram Story.

The actor currently offers access to her OnlyFans at $50 a month, and follows in the footsteps of the likes of Cardi B and Tyler Posey in joining the platform.

The platform has definitely proved to be a very lucrative side hustle for celebs. Cardi B has reportedly been making $46.7 million (£37.1 million) a year or $1.87 million (£1.4 million) a month.

Amanda Bynes’s conservatorship ended in 2022, with Judge Roger L. Lund saying during the ruling: “The Capacity Declaration filed 02/22/22 concludes that conservatee has capacity [to] give informed consent to any form of medical treatment.

“The court determines that the conservatorship is no longer required and that grounds for establishment of a conservatorship of the person no longer exist.

“The court intends to grant the petition for termination and order the conservatorship of the person of Amanda Bynes be terminated.”

At the time, Bynes thanked her fans ‘for their love and well wishes’ over the nine-year period.

In a statement shared with People, she previously said: “Following today’s decision by the judge to terminate my conservatorship, I would like to thank my fans for their love and well wishes during this time.

“I would also like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their support over the last nine years.”

The actor had also teased upcoming projects, adding: “In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.

“I am excited about my upcoming endeavors — including my fragrance line — and look forward to sharing more when I can.”
